" We stayed with the Parents for a couple of days while attending wedding festivities in Burlington. Lucy and Roger were warm and friendly hosts. By the time we left, we felt like family. Lucy's cooking was so good and well presented
with fresh vegetables form their garden. The house was snug and
beautiful. We enjoyed the tour of their farm and garden, and Lucy showed me some beautiful quilts, including one recently prepared for an upcoming wedding. Between wedding events, we toured nearby sights, including Lake Champlain, the Von Trapp Family Lodge, Little River State Park, Burlington, Stowe and Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream headquarters.
Wish we could visit again! I'm using up most of my vacation this year going to Portugal next month to visit a friend. Hopefully, we'll get back someday and stay with you again. Kathy Austin and All Schlueter |
